- You didn't mention which OS you are having this problem in?
- I used to suffer from the same problem and fixed it yesterday in W 95
- check what your Comm speed is set at, not the MODEM to MODEM speed.
- In W 95 you want to check under DUN and your ISP name then Properties then Configure set
- to 115200. Now the USR and DUN recognize each other every time. Before DUN suffered the same problems
- that you encountered but the Apps that USR provided didn't.

- I had set the Comm speed to 115200 under Control Panel Modem, however the value in DUN for my ISP took precedence.
